This Raises Many Questions, None Of Which Seem To Be "Why Is Pete Doherty Still Famous?"
Some fans walked out after the junkie rocker turned up 90 minutes late for the gig at an exclusive nightspot in Moscow, which was attended by VIP guests like Russian tycoon and Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich.
When he finally did show up after claiming he'd "overslept", the crowd booed and chucked bagels at the ex-Libertines star with one hitting him on the shoulder.
The 29-year-old responded by picking up one of the bagels off the floor and eating it.
Do they serve bagels in Russian night clubs? Are bagels some sort of customary night time snack overseas, like miniature pot pies on a porcelain plate would be here in the US? Or are the a delicacy, only being served in "exclusive night clubs" during private performances? Because I might be willing to brave seeing Pete's teeth up close if there's some schmear or Nova involved.
Also, why were these fancypants people revolving their night around thinking Pete Doherty would be on time? Even the newspaper referred to him as a junkie, and when you don't even need to fact check that shit, you know it's true.
Jeez,I wish my daily troubles revolved around people throwing food at me. Though if it was spaghetti, uncut pineapple, apples from a far distance or cheese fries (I'd eat that one off the floor, no problem), I'd have to pass. Would make for a more convenient way to shop for groceries, though.
